EVENTS OFFICER + CONTENT CREATOR:


Overview:

As the Events Officer and Content Creator for NTU Fashion Society 2022/23, my role involved organising and executing fun and inclusive society events, creating engaging and high-quality content for social media and promotional materials, and fostering community among members. 

I networked and built partnerships with industry professionals, implemented strategic marketing to boost event attendance, and maintained the society's brand image. Additionally, I provided skill development opportunities through workshops and training, conducted post-event evaluations to improve future activities, and stayed updated with fashion trends to continually bring fresh ideas to the society.


The Skills:

  • Event organisation - planned, coordinated, and executed a variety of events such as fashion workshops, guest lectures, formal balls, and social gatherings.

  • Concept creation - developed creative and innovative event concepts that align with the interests and trends of the fashion community.

  • Logistics management - handled all logistical aspects including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and scheduling.

  • Visual storytelling - used photography, videography, and graphic design to create visually appealing content that captured the essence of the society’s events and activities.

  • Community building - fostered a sense of community among members through interactive and participatory events.

  • Inclusivity - ensured events were inclusive and catered to a diverse range of interests and genders.

  • Building external partnerships - created and maintained relationships with industry professionals, brands, and other societies for potential collaborations and sponsorship.

  • Internal collaboration - worked closely with other committee members to align event plans with the society’s goals and strategies.

  • Strategic marketing - developed and execute marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
